Puppy Pre-school
We offer puppy school classes for the NSW South Coast for both our North Nowra Veterinary Hospital and Jervis Bay Veterinary Clinic. Puppy training and socialisation classes are designed for puppies aged between 6–16 weeks.
The classes run for one hour each week for four weeks. During the four weeks you will learn how to train your pup to be obedient, healthy and well socialised dog using voice tone, praise, edible treats and games.
What you learn at Puppy Pre-school
- To correct problem behaviours
- To establish yourself as a kind pack leader
- To create a healthy, happy environment for your pup
- To socialise your puppy correctly
- Train your pup using praise, treats and voice tone
You will also learn how to teach your pup to:
- Sit, stay, come and drop
- Walk on a lead nicely
- Hold eye contact
- Leave an object on cue
- How to meet and greet people and other animals
