Introducing our wonderful, caring vets at the Jervis Bay Vet Clinic just around the corner from Vincentia and Huskisson, that will work with you to provide the best healthcare for every stage of your pet’s life. They are very approachable and willing to discuss any concerns you may have about your pet’s wellbeing.
We would also like to introduce our caring and well trained nursing team who endeavour to provide your pets with the best possible nursing care and who supply you with up to date information on how to ensure the wellness of your pet.

Dr David Fowler BVSc Hons
Veterinarian
David graduated from University of Sydney in 2007. He initially worked in a mixed animal practice in the Southern Highlands for 2 years. He then traveled overseas and worked as a locum in the UK for 2 years in a small animal/equine practice. Later David then worked in Ontario Canada for a year. He finally returned to Australia and joined our team in January 2012. David is interested in all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery and focuses on compassionate care and strong communication with his clients.

Dr Anna Curtis BSc BVSc
Anna graduated from the University of Sydney in 2008. She initially worked in central Queensland treating a mix of small animals and horses for 5 years. She then moved to a remote mining town in Western Australia working in mixed practice. After 3 years Anna moved to Darwin to a small animal/wildlife clinic which included work at remote Aboriginal communities. In 2018 Anna moved to the Jervis Bay area and joined our team. Anna enjoys all aspects of small animal practice but particularly soft tissue surgery and emergency medicine. When not at work, Anna enjoys spending time with her partner Michael and her two spoiled dogs, Lucky and Rusty.

Dr Leah Bonnette BVSc (Hons) MANZCVS
Leah graduated from the University of Sydney in 2005 and worked in mixed practice on the south coast for the next 12 years, treating all sorts of small and large animal patients. In that time she developed special interests in small animal surgery and ultrasound, and attained membership of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Science in small animal surgery in 2012. She joined the team at North Nowra and Jervis Bay Vets in 2018 and is enjoying helping the clients of the south coast community with all their pet health needs! Leah is a typical animal lover and has a menagerie at home that includes a cocker spaniel called Tesla, cats Banks and Matilda, chickens, guinea pigs and fish. When not at work she can usually be found enjoying the beautiful Jervis Bay surrounds with her family.

Nicole
Nurse
Nicole is our wonderful and extremely talented behaviour trainer. She has been working in the Veterinary industry for 29 years and has been with us since October 2013. Nicole previously worked at the Shoalhaven Veterinary clinic for 10 years before we took over management in April 2014. You will often see Nicole giving advice to pet owners regarding any behaviour concerns they may have. She looks after our puppy classes and thoroughly enjoys seeing her puppy graduates grow up into well trained adult dogs. Nicole has two dogs, a bird and a rescued thoroughbred. Kate joined our team in June 2016 as a kennel hand whilst studying her Certificate II and III in Animal Studies and has just recently completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. She has worked as a medical and surgical nurse at both our North Nowra and Jervis Bay practices. Kate has a particular interest in medical nursing and radiography, and loves to provide all patients with exceptional care.

Stacey’s career in veterinary nursing began with us in 2016. Stacey is passionate in all aspects of animal rescue and shares her home with 5 rescued pets, Allie the labrador, Cashew the chihuahua, Rosie the tabby cat, David the fluffy cat and Aurora the ragdoll. Stacey also has a habit for fostering kittens for a local animal welfare organisations, including orphaned neonates. It is always a full house and she wouldn’t have it any other way!

Belinda came to live in Jervis bay in early high school where she later married and raised her family. She spends most of her leisure time surrounding herself with the beautiful environment of the bay. She especially loves the beaches and simplicity of the lifestyle we are fortunate to have down this way. Belinda has one dog that loves the dog beach!
