Here at North Nowra Veterinary Hospital we have a variety of programs to suit the different stages of your pet's life. Whether you have just made the committment to adopt a puppy and are starting to train them or if your pet is becoming a senior in our animal community and needs a few extra health checks to enure their continued wellness, we have a program that is structured to assist you with your loved pet.
We also have a program designed to help your animal achieve a healthy weight that you can sustain throughout their life. We can support you in reducing their weight and striving to obtain the optimal weight best sutied to your pet depending on their breed, age and body structure. We will help you monitor their progress and adapt their food intake according to the results.
Another program we run is to keep your pet free from dental disease and aid in preventing any tartar and bad breath in your animal. We check your animals teeth and gums whenever they visit us but also encourage you to bring them back regularly so we can check and monitor their dental health. This will help us to reduce any problems that may arise.
A very important program that we run here at North Nowra Veterinary Hospital is our Kitten and Cat Adoption Program. We re-house our kittens and adult cats that are surrendered to us, to responsible caring owners. Our Cat & Kitten Adoption Centre is located in the reception area, so you can view our kittens playing and socialising whenever you visit us. If you would like some more information about our kittens or would like the opportunity to interact them with the view of adopting them please discuss with one of our nurses.
We have more information on all of these programs located in the following pages, please browse through and if you have any questions please contact us.
